Which devices does Animavox support?
Animavox requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. The SLS Camera and LiDAR Scanner features require ARKit body tracking and a LiDAR sensor, which are available on iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max and newer. All other tools (EMF Meter, EVP Recorder, Sensor Panel, Investigation Logger) work on any supported iPhone.
What is included in the free version?
The free version includes access to all investigation tools with limited session recording time. Free users will see non-intrusive banner ads. Premium unlocks unlimited recording, iCloud sync, PDF report exports, and removes all ads.
How do I subscribe to Premium?
Open Animavox and tap the Premium badge or navigate to Settings. Choose a monthly or annual plan and confirm your purchase through Apple. Your subscription is managed entirely through your Apple ID.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Animavox, and tap Cancel. You will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Install Animavox on your new device and sign in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Open the app and go to Settings > Restore Purchases. Your Premium subscription will be restored automatically.
Where is my data stored?
All investigation data, sensor recordings, and media are stored locally on your device. Premium subscribers can enable iCloud sync, which stores data in your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. We do not operate our own servers for user data and never have access to your investigation files.
The EMF Meter shows high readings everywhere. Is this normal?
Electronic devices, power cables, and household appliances all emit electromagnetic fields. Try calibrating the baseline in an open area away from electronics, then move to your investigation location. The app detects changes relative to the baseline, so calibration is key to accurate readings.
The SLS Camera doesn't detect anything. What should I check?
Ensure your device supports ARKit body tracking (iPhone 13 Pro or newer). The SLS Camera needs adequate lighting to initialise AR tracking. If the camera feed appears but no skeletons are drawn, try adjusting the sensitivity slider in the tool settings.
How do I report a bug?
Email us at [email protected] with a description of the issue, your iPhone model, iOS version, and any screenshots or screen recordings that show the problem. This helps us investigate and fix the issue quickly.
